چکیده
Unfortunately, the production of cement impacts pessimistically on environments since it emits CO2—a principal Green House Gas (GHG)—encouraging earth-heating dilemma. Moreover, necessitates not only high temperature produced by devouring narrow natural mineral coal resources to obtain very amounts energy, but also gulps down limestone deposits as a raw material that is found confined in nature intense energy. Quite recently, geopolymerisation—an exothermic process, through which geopolymeric binders can be synthesis pozzolanic precursor rich Alumina and Silica, for an instant, Fly Ash, with alkali solution activation medium at low operational energy—is recognized brilliantly promising alternative conventional cement. That means, no elevated higher energy consuming reactions are essential any more associated contemporary production. This research paper moves towards fulfilling performance evaluation durability studies viz., water permeability, sorptivity, sulphate resistance, acid salt chloride diffusion, drying shrinkage, corrosion fly ash based user eco-friendly rubberized (containing rubber tyre fibres) geopolymer concrete. Comparisons outcomes have been made its counterpart, has unearthed Rubberized Geopolymer Concrete proved better concerning all above-mentioned parameters than OPC-Concrete.

The construction industry is increasingly turning to the use of environmentally friendly materials in order to meet the sustainable aspect required by modern infrastructures. Consequently, for the last two decades, the expansion of this concept, and the increasing global warming have raised concerns on the extensive use of Portland cement due to the high amount of carbon dioxide gas associated ...
متن کاملTechBrief: Geopolymer Concrete
Geopolymer concrete—an innovative material that is characterized by long chains or networks of inorganic molecules—is a potential alternative to conventional portland cement concrete for use in transportation infrastructure construction. It relies on minimally processed natural materials or industrial byproducts to significantly reduce its carbon footprint, while also being very resistant to ma...

The disposal of used tires is a major environmental problem throughout the world which causes environmental hazards. Crumb rubber is a waste material that is ideal for use in concrete applications. The aim of this study is achieved to use of rubber waste as partial replacement of fine aggregate to produce rubberize concrete in M30 mix. Different partial replacements of crumb rubber (0, 5, 10, 1...

To study effects of several factors on the properties of fly ash based geopolymer concrete on the compressive strength and also the cost comparison with the normal concrete. The test variables were molarities of sodium hydroxide(NaOH) 8M,14M and 16M, ratio of NaOH to sodium silicate (Na2SiO3) 1, 1.5, 2 and 2.5, alkaline liquid to fly ash ratio 0.35 and 0.40 and replacement of water in Na2SiO3 s...
متن کاملDurability of High-performance Concrete with Fly Ash
High-performance concrete (HPC) is usually produced using high quality materials. These high quality constituents drastically increase the initial cost of HPC, hence hindering its more widespread use. Therefore, the main goal of this research project was to produce a low cost enhanced performance concrete or even a low cost HPC, using low quality fly ash and locally available crushed aggregates...
